Sunshine Overview

Do you know of a school family that could
use a little "sunshine"?

We can help.

At St. Isidore we have a group of parent volunteers called the “Sunshine Committee”.  Our purpose is to coordinate support for families in need. The type of support varies on the circumstances. Some are sad like an illness or death in the family and others are very joyful like welcoming a new baby. In any case, we offer to provide a little “sunshine” for the family by providing meals, transportation, or simply prayers - whatever the family would find most helpful.  In order to help others, our group relies on the support of all school families because, in essence, we are all part of the St. Isidore “Sunshine Committee”.

Sunshine Contacts K-8

If you are in need of assistance or know someone in our school community who does, please contact Cyndi McEntush.  She will coordinate with the appropriate class representative(s) to determine how we can best help.  The class representative(s) will then initiate the process of providing that assistance. For example, they may send an email asking for volunteers to deliver meals to a family with a newborn.
